Still in the XXI century education curriculum gaps exist undiscovered, new ways that are vital for the formation of Man. One of them is death, because man may be the only animal known to be dying. And this awareness of mortality finitude gives it a pedagogical nature, in the sense of its potential for the human set of coordinates from which to act, grow and develop. It is therefore a key pedagogical element of education for freedom. In recent decades are emerging lines of research rigorous and consolidated seeking to contribute to the standardization of educational treatment of death in all stages. This article attempts to provide methodological proposals for Didactics of Death from artistic creativity, through resources like ephemeral art, Ready-made movement or analysis of cultures in which death has been a dominant theme in artistic expression. The proposals are consistent with humanistic or complex-evolutionary models of creativity, emphasizing its educational possibilities for human beings. Artistic creativity as a resource for Death Education is an example of creativity applied for formation, as it provides important opportunities for symbolic expression and the experience of loss and death and, therefore, so that students develop a broader and more complex concept of death. The conclusions of the article reflects on the significant relevance of a possible integrated Pedagogy of Death in Life Education and the possibilities of artistic creativity in the teaching of death.
