The article raises the importance of making a curriculum design based on the construction of procedural principles for improving education, in particular, the relationship between theory and practice, i.e. between pedagogical knowledge and teaching activities. From a single case study explores how one teacher makes connections theory-practice between his procedures and principles and his classroom practice on primary education everyday, promoting innovative ways of teaching and learning. The article concludes with some ideas for improving education: in education of students and classroom dynamics, in the development of basic skills, in coexistence relationships in classroom and teacher professional development.
