Abstract

This article addresses the issue of school absenteeism, dealing with some approaches, strategies and actions that any school should take into account in order to prevent it or to act on it as soon as possible. The first part deals with how the actions to be taken can be mainly focused on the truant student or the school and the different aspects of how it works, as well as -in parallel- can have a preventive role or, rather, palliative.
