Pedagogy of Death. Songs as didactic resource
Abstract

We can`t deny the relationship between death and life for humans. And in spite of this we have not been able to give a pedagogical treatment of the fact of death in different educational contexts. The fact die as a teaching subject can and should help in the requirement that each and every one of us human being daily. This article aims to reflect on the vision that moves from death on songs for possible use as a teaching tool. Using content analysis methodology has allowed perceive as religious influence we have in view of death, our mortal condition and accepting it as inevitable. In this dynamic, we propose the use of songs as a teaching resource to work the theme of death. The music moves and creates culture, and is a powerful transmitter of cultural ideas that, used correctly, can be a great educational element analysis and reflection situations about the content they transmit, helping to develop, without impositions, authentic human positioning to this reality. Finally, the conclusions we try to reflect on the importance of introducing the Pedagogy of Death in education as well as the possibilities of the songs as a teaching resource.
