Managing School Supervision on the Quality Schools Program in Sonora:
From Paper to Practice
 
Abstract
 

This study examines the central practices of the supervisor of elementary education in the state of Sonora in the policies under the Quality Schools Program (QSP). The supervisor is considered a primary agent for fulfilling the objectives of this program. Professional practice and educational policy that supports it is studied from the quantitative and qualitative approaches. The results indicated that supervisors face new challenges and new powers to demand the educational policy of school management Quality Schools Program, which have not been properly prepared and therefore are difficult to meet the policy.
