The author offers a brief introduction to the concept of the modern sociological and compared investigation on the subject of equality of opportunities at education; she presents interesting data on the access and permanence of the European women in the educative systems and their obtained results. Additionally, she mentions some of the present benefits of these academic achievements and a view to the current policies for the promotion of the equality of opportunities at the education. Muñoz-Repiso finalizes this article with some reflections on the subject.
