This document is organized in five parts. In the first part the author exposes arguments on the relation among educational research and the use of it to take decisions. The second part rises on the subject of relations hold between educational research, teaching practice and public policies. The third part is a reflection on the relation between research and teaching practice standing from the educational research point of view. The fourth argues about the divulgation (trans-mission) of the educational research to different audiences. On the final section, the author presents hers and Muñoz Repiso’s conclusions on the subject.
