The Education on and for the Positive Coexistence in Spain
 
Abstract
 

The research in which Mercedes Muñoz Repiso Izaguirre participated, her books , her articles and conferences have served as referent to the groups of people of the different Spanish Autonomous Communities whom have recently created the Association for the Positive Coexistence “CONVIVES”.

Although the educative investigation in Spain has long been contributing with the data that has made evident the need to approach coexistence as key element for education, some broadcasted events, had generated social alarm, and accelerated the administrations and educative centers decision making process on the matter This article pretends to offer a view on the situation of education in and for the positive coexistence in Span at the moment, some reflections on the different dimensions of the mentioned, the roll of the written media related to the vision and diffusion of the same and the legislation that has taken place at the Spanish government as well as at the different autonomous communities.
