Anna Domina

Anna Domina graduated from Creighton University with her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy (OTD). Upon graduation, Dr. Domina practiced as a school-based and early-intervention therapist in both Nebraska and Arizona. Dr. Domina accepted a position as an Assistant Professor and Academic Clinical Education Coordinator for the Creighton University’s School of Pharmacy and Health Professions Occupational Therapy Department in 2010. As a part of this new position, she began working closely with the Institute for Latin American Concern (ILAC) preparing and mentoring students prior to and during the cultural and clinical immersion in the Dominican Republic. Dr. Domina has traveled with the group several times to the Dominican Republic and continues to support the organization of the program. Dr. Domina has a passion for service learning, pediatric community health promotion and clinical education. Dr. Domina is the acting president of the Nebraska Occupational Therapy Association (NOTA) and is actively involved in service learning efforts in the occupational therapy department and is recognized as a faculty associate of the Office of Interprofessional Scholarship, Service and Education (OISSE) at Creighton University. Her research interests include service-learning, pediatric health promotion, handwriting program effectiveness, and clinical education. Dr. Domina teaches courses in clinical education preparation and fieldwork in the entry-level occupational therapy doctorate program.
