A nonviolent political strategy for a Culture of Peace
The philosophy of independent living is a nonviolent political strategy. The theory of nonviolence is essential to develop new social policies on people with functional diversity. This article discusses the approach of independent life as a way to achieve a culture of peace. Analyzes from a critical perspective the different approaches and models that have influenced the lives of people with functional diversity and disability.
